This is a viral marketing opportunity for us and hopefully a lot of fun for you. We want you to enjoy using our product and tell others about what we do.

Laugh! Watch the video then record your response and add it to the chain. See the laughter chain grow as others respond to your laughter by adding their own.

We’re assuming that you’ve already got a computer and broadband … how else would you be reading this otherwise? You may not have a webcam though. You can go ahead and watch the Laughter Chain video without one, but to join in, you’ll need to buy one. It’s probably not worth buying one just to join our Laughter Chain, but they’re useful things anyway.

What sort of computer do I need?
Here’s the complicated answer:
System requirements
PC running Windows 2000, XP or Vista (Windows 2000 users require DirectX 9.0 for video calls), or a Mac running Max OS X 10.2 or later.
Flash 9 player.
Internet connection (broadband is best, GPRS is not supported for voice calls).
Speakers and microphone – built-in or separate.
For voice and video calls we recommend a computer with at least a 1GHz processor, 256 MB RAM and of course a webcam.
The simple answer is that any reasonably up-to-date PC will do.

Should I tell jokes?
No! Laughter is an international language. There is no need to tell jokes; contagious laughter is what it’s all about.
Can my friends join me in the recording?
Yes! The more the merrier.
Can I control how long I record for?
You can stop recording at any point before the end of the pre recorded Laughter Chain by pressing the blue button. We will, however, be editing the video so you don’t have to worry too much about where you begin or end your laughter.
Can I delete my video after I’ve submitted it?
No. But if you really, really want to, email us at hahaha@skypelaughterchain.com

What will happen to my video once I’ve finished recording it?
Once we receive your video, we’ll edit it and ensure that its content is suitable for public viewing. Not all videos will make it through to the Laughter Chain, but if you laugh, the chances are you’ll make everyone laugh.
How can I tell my friends about the Laughter Chain?
Good question! The Laughter Chain depends on you. We want you to spread the word – and the laughter. You can email the site address to anyone, or send them the link to your reaction video which you can request you when you submit your video. Or, if you really like the Laughter Chain, you can embed it into your blog or Facebook profile by clicking the Embed This link button.

Nothing: it’s free!
Is there an age limit?
No, laughter is ageless. All we ask is that if you’re not the one that pays the broadband bills you first ask whoever pays the bill before you upload and get permission from your legal guardian if you are under 18.
Who owns the material once I’ve uploaded it?
We do! Once you’ve accepted our terms and conditions we’ll upload it. It then becomes part of a viral marketing campaign. We use it to promote our products.
